Real estate has always been a passion of mine dating back to my teenage years when my Mother and I would attend the “Parade of Homes”. I always loved to see the new ideas and the decoration. That has transformed into my love of staging. I firmly believe that any house will sell more quickly and for more money if it is staged. I have taken staging classes while earning my “Accredited Staging Professional” credential.
As our population ages – in particular the “baby boomers” it has become apparent to me that this group will demand special skills. I have taken the courses that deal with that segment of our population and have earned the “Senior Real Estate Specialist” credential. My enjoyment with these over 65 folks is evidenced by my following in The Villages – an over 55 retirement community in the Evergreen Area.
Knowledge is key to any profession, however with the value of real estate in California being what it is a well-trained real estate agent can make a big difference with a successful close to any transaction. I continually add to and update my knowledge of current market conditions, tax issues and general real estate issues. I want my clients to know their options before deciding to buy or sell real estate.
My personal involvement with every aspect of the transaction is key to my success. I communicate regularly during all phases to ensure that everyone involved is up to date. I will always tell you the truth regarding the market and pricing while studying the marketplace in your area for current statistics. If sprucing up your home before a sale is needed I have a team of professionals that can paint, carpet, remodel, landscape or just repair small items. Of course my group of inspection specialists has been tried and trusted for many years.
Having moved to California from Ohio in 1973 I now consider myself a “native”! I believe the Bay Area is absolutely a wonderful place to live, work and play. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in finance from San Jose State University. I have also attended The Ohio State University and Youngstown State University. While my husband, Jeff and I like to play golf, garden, play pool and just plain relax, our 4-year old granddaughter continually brings joy to our hearts.
